We are excited to help spread the word about an upcoming litter at Dakota Drift Kennel featuring Dakota Drift Cadence, the younger sister of our own Dakota Drift B’Shota.
Shota holds a special place in my heart. She has become a wonderful hunting partner and the kind of dog I can take anywhere. I love her ability to use her nose to find game—a quality she shares with her mother and her sister, Cadence. My experience with Shota makes me especially excited to share this opportunity with other hunting families.
Cadence’s breeding is scheduled for October 2026, with puppies expected around mid-December, pending confirmation of pregnancy.
A versatile hunting dog is bred and trained to work with you before and after the shot: searching for and pointing game, retrieving on land and in water, and tracking wounded game.
For hunters who enjoy both upland birds and waterfowl, a Large Munsterlander can be a rewarding partner across different cover, terrain, and seasons. Developing those abilities takes consistent training, hunting experience, and time together.
These dogs are best suited to hunting families who want an involved companion and can provide regular exercise, training, and hunting opportunities. The reward is the partnership you build—in the field, on the water, and at home.
Dakota Drift places puppies in hunting homes. If you are looking for your next hunting companion, contact Todd and Lori to learn about Cadence, the D litter, and their puppy placement process.
